I'm back. I had another sebaceous cyst that went rogue. I went to the surgeon on Tuesday of last week and he lanced, drained & packed it. All was well that evening & Wednesday but by Thursday night the redness spread. I went back to the surgeon Friday & he cut off 4" X 2" of skin and told me to go to the hospital for IV antibiotics. So, I was there from Friday afternoon until this afternoon. I was released around 2PM this afternoon and start in home health care tomorrow. I still have the PICC line in and will learn how to inject the antibiotics myself through the 22nd. At least this time the wound has responded to the antibiotics.
Nope nothing I need except this darn wound to heal & close up. I am over this. Looks like I'll be at home through all of next week too. Arghhhhh! I really can't do much around the house except LOOK at everything that needs to be done. It's frustrating.
I'm managing laundry duty & dish washing duty. That's about it. I have friends coming in a couple times a week to scoop the litter boxes.
Sorry for the worry. Loved your latest photos. Hate the fact that there are Lost Dog fliers all over the park. I hope the dog has been found & they just didn't bother to take down their fliers. Stuff like that just makes my heart ache. I think about just how frightened & confused the dog must be.
